How is the letter study going in your house?🥸
What we actually want to do about alphabet with our toddlers and preschoolers is just playing with alphabet and being familiarized with them.
So this week, I want to introduce another fun letter game! Repetition is important for young children, you know, right?
You need to prep this behind your child because it’s scavenger hunt.😎
Materials
- “Secret Message Scavenger Hunt Resources”

- Glue
Secret Message Scavenger Hunt Resources
Instructions
- Open my “Secret Message Scavenger Hunt Resources”.
- Print them out.
- Choose one of three messages you want to do first.
- Check the colour of message/boxes.
- For the message in brown colour, you need the boxed letters in brown colour (H,A,P,P,Y).
- For the message in peach colour, you need the boxed letters in peach colour (G,O,O,D).
- Same for purple message and purple letters (L,O,V,E).
- If you choose to do the message in brown colour, cut the boxed letters in brown colour out.
- Fold each letter.
- Hide the 5 folded paper pieces around the house.
- Give your child the paper that has the message and ask to find the missing letters.
When your child finds all the pieces, s/he can open them and match the numbers in the paper pieces and the numbers in the message.
Simple activity! Not much to explain. Hehe😝
But it’s fun for children and plus, it’s another chance to play with letters!
Have a cup of coffee while your child is busy looking for the missing letters 😉
I suggest doing this activity in the morning to start the day with a kind reminder and happy energy.☀️🦄
Hope you enjoy it!
Happy learning and quality time!
