Another holiday to celebrate!
This one in April is the one that I actually celebrate! Easter!
Well, what I do as Catholic for Easter is attending Easter Sunday mass and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. π
But, as a teacher, I like to do Easter egg hunt with children!
This year, I came up with a little different idea.
Children will hide the Easter eggs! (Not the Easter bunny! Not us! π)
Let me show you how you can let your child hide Easter eggs.
Hide Easter eggs
Materials
- Easter egg templates
- Clear sheet protector
- Chalk markers
How To
Put one of the Easter egg template inside the clear sheet protector.
Draw anything on the sheet protector to hide the Easter eggs.
Itβs about using camouflage.
You can explain it to your child like this.
Camouflage is a way to blend in with the surroundings. It can be used when somebody wants to hide his location or movement. Here, we are using camouflage to hide Easter eggs. Are the Easter eggs blending in with the surroundings in your picture?
Reading
Read the book βThe Great Eggscape!β by Jory John.
It shows eggs in the market escaping the carton and hiding. It exactly shows eggs using camouflage in the market.π
Another good book about Easter egg hunt is βThe Best Easter Egg Hunt Everβ by Dawn Casey.
Itβs a story about the bunny finding a special egg during the Easter egg hunt. ( Bunny finds a real egg which later hatches.)
