Bake Apple Muffins and Make Fall Memories with Your Child – with Book “Apple Farmer Annie”

It’s an apple season and I think we need to use apples in our play and lessons.😄

Whether you’ve visited an apple farm this year with your child or not, we can still talk about a lot of different things about apples.

An easy way to start is using this book.

This is an old book but the story of an apple farmer doesn’t change with the time.😛

This book shows where the apples come from and how the farmer Annie uses her apples in fall.

Once you and your child is excited about apples(😋) I suggest to try making apple muffins together.

The recipe that I used for my apple muffins is from “Gimme Some Oven”.

I took some photos to show you what parts of the baking process you can give to your child. It’s not so complicated so I recommend the recipe that I used.

My only failed part was that the muffins were a little crumbly. I’m not sure if I did something wrong(😅) but I recommend to put a muffin in a bowl when you give it to your child to eat. The taste was really good and it was pleasingly soft.

Our purpose of baking here is not really about making perfect muffins. Hehe.

We want to

  • Work on the same goal with your child
  • Give your child an opportunity to help
  • Make good fall memories together
  • Have yummy snack
