I always like books that promote creative confidence and it has been some time since I talked about creativity here. So when the book “I’m Not Just a Scribble” came up on my feed a few weeks ago, I decided to check it out. I saw the cover of this book many times before but the title sounded a little boring to me and therefore I never read it.
Book “I’m Not Just a Scribble” by Diane Alber
The story was simple and good, and I liked that it talked about differences and harmony. But it wasn’t a special book. I wouldn’t brought it here to introduce to you if it wasn’t the main character’s attitude. The main character of the book is “Scribble” and he (I’m calling it him here.) has a brave growth mindset.
Listen to the podcast episode #25 below to learn more about this book and what I want to teach to children with this book.
Quotes from the Scribble
““I won’t be upset” He proclaimed.”
“The fact that I’m different doesn’t make me so bad.”
“If you could just give me a chance, we could have a great time.”
