Have you ever seen a wordless children book?
It’s 100% pictures only.
There are some good things about a wordless book.
- Children don’t have to read.
- Children get to use imagination.
- It’s simpler and fun.
- It can give children different meanings.
- Children can develop comprehension skills.
In the episode 83 of Teacher Gela Podcast, I use the book “Fly!” By Mark Teague and talk about how to use a wordless book to give your child more confidence.

This book is good to try storytelling for the first time because the pictures are very specific and easy to understand. You can try this with toddlers and preschoolers.
Listen to the episode below and learn about the book and my strategies to use the book.
(There are some lessons that we want to learn from the book, too!😉)

Happy learning and quality time!
