I often see boys talking about superheroes while they are playing with peers. So it’s not so uncommon to like superheroes at the preschool age. But, if superheroes are the only things that your child likes to play, I think it’s concerning.
The preschool stage is an important stage since they still have a lot of things to see and learn about for the first time. So if your child only plays with one kind of things, I would say s/he is missing out many things.
I think it’s one of the important things that we, adults can do to young children to introduce and show as many things as possible. In this week’s podcast episode, I talk about this problem and give you my suggestions to change things.
