Invisible Seeds in Our Mind with Book “A Fruit is a Suitcase for Seeds”

I wanted to give a lesson about fruits or vegetables for this week. Maybe it’s a spring fever. Haha.

I found this book.

Book “A Fruit is a Suitcase for Seeds” by Jean Richards and Anca Hariton
Book “A Fruit is a Suitcase for Seeds”

Isn’t the cover pretty?

I like watercolour art. It’s soft and dreamy.

But actually this book is not about a dreamy story. It’s an informational book. It explains the science part of fruits.

How the plant seeds grow on the ground, how some seeds are carried in fruits, how they travel to different places, how they become edible fruits and how they spread further by animals and humans.

I think it’s a great book to teach about this science to young children. The facts are explained in an easy way and the beautiful illustrations make things interesting.

I, however, saw another opportunity in this book. An opportunity to teach about growth mindset!

Listen to the podcast episode below and start planting invisible seeds in your minds with your little one.😉🌱

Happy learning and quality time!
