You Are Safe and Secure – Wild Animals in Winter

Talking about wild animals in winter is a great seasonal activity to do with preschoolers.

It’s a pretty common theme in preschool.

But!

Is there anything else that we can teach from that?

Yes.

I want to remind our preschoolers that they are safe and secure with families or friends.

“You are safe and secure.”

This is one of the good positive affirmations that can help children feel positive and keep a positive attitude in their daily life.

In this week’s Mini Class, I talk about feeling safe and secure at home and also teach about wild animals staying safe in winter.

After the Mini Class, your child can make houses for some wild animals.

If your child gets anxious at familiar places sometimes, help her/him remember that s/he is safe by saying the positive affirmation “you are safe and secure” together. 💛

When a lesson followed by a physical activity, the lesson retains better. Try this.

Happy learning and quality time!
