[COOKING] Crescent Cookies || Book “I Took The Moon For A Walk” by Carolyn Curtis

I want to introduce another beautiful book today that can take your child to the peaceful mindfulness world. This book would be great for the bedtime story.🌛😴

Book “I Took The Moon For A Walk” by Carolyn Curtis

In the night when everyone goes home, a young boy goes out for a walk with his special friend, Moon. They walk around the neighbourhood and see many beautiful things – dewy grass, fragile clouds and smooth water – and they imagine playing together, swinging and dancing.

The soft-feeling illustrations make the story and words feel more magical, and you know what? It makes me want to close my eyes and imagine the scenes in my head. (What more do we want to help our children fall asleep?😌)

After the story at the end, there are pages explaining about the phases of the moon with different shapes of the moon.

These are good facts to learn for preschoolers!

Crescent Cookies

If your preschooler is learning the different shapes of moon or just falling in love with moon from the book (😄), try making these cute crescent cookies together.

I used the recipe from Eating Bird Food and I loved the final cookies!

The part that I like the most about these cookies is that they are gluten-free!

You can even choose not to coat the cookies with the powdered sugar after they are baked. They were still delicious.
