Mindful Walk – Treasure Hunt

I’m so grateful for the mild weather these days. Every off-day, I want to go out into the nature and take a walk with the people that I love.

Do you like going for a walk?

Walking with children can be beneficial for both adults and children. Changing environment, changing the vibe, getting fresh air in our lung. It can lift our mood up.😌 And I believe there is a relaxing feeling that only nature can give us, our human bodies.

I want to give you a little resource to help you have more of this kind of nature time with your child.

Mindful Walk – Treasure Hunt

Take one of these pictures with you to your mindful walk and ask your child if s/he can spot/smell/hear/taste/feel things on the picture.

I made bingo versions, too. 😄

These are all available in Everyday Funday Shop.

Book “In A Jar” by Deborah Marcero

You can add a story time before or after the mindful walk.

I recommend the book “In A Jar” by Deborah Marcero.

Book “In A Jar” by Deborah Marcero

In the book, the bunny Llewellyn likes to go out and walk around in the nature, finding beautiful things, like heart-shaped stones, rainbows and wind.

Of course, this book has beautiful illustrations (😍) and I’m sure it will inspire your child and make her/him want to go out for more mindful walks.

Nature-Loving Song

Try singing this nature-loving song together, too.

(When you don’t have any more interesting things to talk about on the walk, sing this song together.😁)

Happy learning and quality time!
