Last weekend, I could keep my word to myself.
I went to a conservation area and walked in the nature for about an hour.
I know, it wasn’t long (😝). I had to leave early because the weather was way hotter than I expected.
But because it was a conservation area (with admission fee), there were not many people and I really appreciated that. I went with my husband and we talked about different things while walking. Oh, I’ve just noticed and I want to acknowledge this. We talked about different things IN THE NATURE, not the things in our daily life. Hm🧐, maybe that’s why I really enjoyed the walk and talk. You know, often there are small and big problems in our life and I’m glad neither of us brought any of them to that nature time.
It’s Saturday today and it is raining on and off. I don’t know if I’ll have time to go outside this weekend.
But, I’m thinking about our last weekend still in this week and that means I really enjoyed the time, right? So I want to encourage you to plan a time to go out to the nature with your loved ones. This weekend or other weekend, whenever you can make time.
If you can make time to go hiking with your child, I have a great book for you.
