Valentine’s Day is only a week away!
Are you doing anything at home?
I know, it might not feel like a big thing to celebrate – any more – when you are a married woman. 😶
But,
Why not?🐰
It can be a fun theme to play around with your child . 💃
(Especially in this boring winter. Yes, I’m getting tired of winter. We’ve had many cold days and lots of snow this year.)
What To Do with Your Little One
1. Teach the meaning of the day
Valentine’s Day is a day to express love to people that we love. We can send a message or gift to our families, friends and any other people that we love and care.
2. Talk about loving ourselves
1) Who do you love?
Who do you want to say that you love them?
Make a list here.
2) Let’s look at our hearts.
Is your heart filled with love? Because when we have an empty heart, it’s really hard to find love to give to others.
Who loves you?
Do you love yourself?
Check your heart and fill the big heart on the template with small paper hearts.
3. Talk about sharing love with others
Alright, I checked my heart and my heart is full of love. I think I have love to share with others.
4. Make Valentine’s Day video card
Watch the video and learn how you can make a video Valentine’s Day message.
5. Share your love with your loved ones
Send your video message to people that you have on your list (plus more 🤍)
Happy learning and quality time!
